My Handwashing Steps – Handwashing Poster, Step Strips and Picture Cards (A4 + US Letter)
Tap on, wet, soap, rub, rinse, tap off, dry. My Handwashing Steps puts every step on a poster by the sink, so you don’t have to say it every time. Made by a dad for his own autistic, ADHD son.
What you get (instant download, 5 pages)
- A Washing my hands poster with 8 picture steps, ready to stick up by the sink
- Step strips to cut apart: one for each sink, school or a bag
- A When I wash my hands poster: after the toilet, before eating, after playing outside, after blowing your nose, after messy play and after touching pets
- 9 picture cards (52 mm) and 3 blank cards you can type on
- A one-page set-up guide with tips
How it works
- Stick the poster by the sink at your child’s eye level.
- The first few times, point to each step as you do it together.
- Then let the poster do the reminding.
Two editions
UK A4 and US Letter PDFs, both in your download (UK says tap, US says faucet). Print at 100% on thin card (cardstock) and laminate: it will get splashed.
Works with the rest of the shop
The cards are the same 52 mm size as all our kits, so they fit every board in the shop.
