My Toilet Steps – Toilet Training Visual Schedule, Sticker Chart and Visual Story (A4 + US Letter)
Learning to use the toilet is easier when every step is right there in pictures. My Toilet Steps is a step-by-step toilet poster, take-along step strips, a sticker chart and a gentle visual story. Made by a dad for his own autistic, ADHD son.
What you get (instant download, 7 pages)
- A Using the toilet poster with 8 picture steps, ready to stick up: pants down, sit on the toilet, wee or poo, wipe, pants up, flush, wash hands, dry hands
- An empty 8-step board for the cards, if you want your own order
- Step strips to cut apart: one for the wall, one for the school bag and spares
- My toilet chart: 30 circles to colour or sticker, with a reward for each full row
- Using the toilet: a 6-picture visual story to read together
- 9 picture cards (52 mm) including a Help card, and 3 blank cards you can type on
- A one-page set-up guide with tips
How it works
- Read Using the toilet together a few times before you start, at a calm moment.
- Stick the poster or a strip by the toilet at your child’s eye level, and point to each step as it happens.
- Colour a circle on the chart each time, and agree a small reward for a full row.
Two editions
UK A4 and US Letter PDFs, both in your download (UK says wee or poo and toilet, US says pee or poop and bathroom). Print at 100% on thin card (cardstock) and laminate.
Works with the rest of the shop
The cards are the same 52 mm size as all our kits, so they fit every board in the shop.
