Halloween can be a lot: costumes, the dark, knocking on strangers’ doors, fireworks. My Halloween is a printable visual schedule and two visual stories that show your child what will happen, one step at a time. Made by a dad for his own autistic, ADHD son.

HOW IT WORKS

1. A few days before, read the trick-or-treating story together and practise at your own front door.
2. On the night, put the steps on the board and move each card to Finished as you go.
3. Too loud, too dark or too scary? Use the Break card, or go home.

UK A4 (sweets, ear defenders, torch) and US Letter (candy, earmuffs, flashlight) PDFs are both included. Print at 100% on thin card, laminate, cut along the thick blue borders and add hook-and-loop dots.
